TimeToElectrify will attend the Ottawa Centre EcoDistrict annual EV Day event in Ottawa. It will be on August 18 from 11AM until 4PM on Sparks Street.
It is a great opportunity to bring family and friends who are curious about electric vehicles.
Here is more information from OCED:
The Ottawa Centre EcoDistrict, Canada’s first EcoDistrict, is a not-for-profit organization operating in downtown Ottawa whose primary goals are to reduce Ottawa’s ecological footprint, increase social vibrancy and attract businesses downtown. Part of our mandate is to promote and support the growth in infrastructure for vehicles such as hybrids, plug-ins, hydrogen, and pure electric vehicles.
Now is the time to help grow interest and change for a better future, and we are looking for you to be a part of it. Sparks Street on August 18th 2016, from 11am-4pm, we will host our third annual EV Day Ottawa. Join us to find out why electric vehicles are now a real possibility for your next vehicle purchase or lease. You will discover the current EV market, where it is heading, and the financial incentives available, or coming, for EVs. This is the perfect opportunity to start asking the questions you’ve always had. Perhaps best of all you can speak to actual EV owners about their experiences and learn about charging stations and other important considerations in EV ownership. You will even be able to test drive several models of EVs on our downtown test track route.
We have a wide range of participants for you to explore and learn from including: government; car manufactures and dealerships; private and public industry; as well as advocacy groups. Each of these organizations represents a pillar in the continuing evolution of our transportation industry towards cleaner, more sustainable technologies. So pack your questions and curiosity and come out to Sparks Street August 18th to learn, experience, and drive our automotive future.
