Launch Party, Ottawa’s first Bolt EV hits the streets
Today was a very special day for a good friend of mine, Eric Carrière, founder of Time To Electrify. He took delivery of his brand new 2017 Chevrolet Bolt EV from Myers Orleans Chevrolet Buick GMC in Ottawa. Eric’s Bolt EV is the first to be delivered in the Ottawa district, truly something to be proud of.
Although Eric is not new to electric vehicles (EV) as the previous owner of a 2012 Chevrolet Volt, his passion and dedication to the EV scene is truly remarkable. Time To Electrify and its growing community and fans are a testament to his determination to have more people driving electrified vehicles in Canada.
Myers Orleans has also come a long way since it’s sold its first Volt back in 2011, they are now the #1 Volume Volt dealer in Ontario. Their devotion to the EV movement is remarkable.

To celebrate the delivery of the Bolt EV, Myers Orleans and Time To Electrify invited MPP Hon Marie-France Lalonde, MPP (Ottawa—Orléans), Andrew Leslie, MP (Orléans), Bob Monette City of Ottawa Councillor, Ward 1 – Orléans, and Jon Gott, Ottawa RedBlacks Grey Cup Champion and CFL AllStar as well as members of the local EV community and the greater public.

The ambiance was electrifying, there was great food and drinks, music thanks to DJKatrella and many great conversations as people studied every detail of Eric’s Bolt EV as well as the four Chevrolet Volts in the showroom.
Ottawa’s first Bolt EV couldn’t have gone to a more charismatic and dedicated owner. I personally wish you many pleasurable kilometers aboard your new 2017 Chevrolet Bolt EV.
