Electric Vehicles and 4 New Guinness Records in Montréal on April 18
Branchez-Vous‘ third edition, is a Centre National du Transport Avancé (CNTA) event being held on April 17-19 2015, at Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve in Montréal. The event’s main objectives are to help people consider the electric vehicle as an option as they plan to lease or purchase a new vehicle and also to educate fleet administrators, general public and media to the stakes and electric vehicle supply in Québec. Branchez-Vous proposes EV test drives, discussions with experienced EV owners and other activities (workshops, conferences and kiosks). To this day, it is the only event focused on electric vehicles available in Québec market. Branchez-Vous will also display some EV not available yet in Québec.
In 2015, the CNTA will try to establish at least 3 new Guinness Records, including the largest electric car parade.
After reaching the mark of 412 plug-in vehicles for the 2014 rally in Montreal, the CNTA is aiming for even better in 2015. The current mark to beat is 507 100% electric vehicles.
The car gathering will be on April 18th 2015 at Île Sainte Hélène parking P8 from where the parade will leave. Be sure you have a minimum of 20 km electric range on arrival in order to be able to complete the parade.
