Canvassing with François Trépanier
In the article ”François For Innes, a Politician from Words to Deeds !”, I explain how I try to demistify electric vehicles at the municipal politics level. The candidate in my Ottawa ward, François Trépanier, is convinced about the benefits of electrification of transport. In the middle of an election campain, buying a Chevrolet Volt : that’s impressive !
Now is my turn to support François Trépanier in the Innes ward. A candidate who owns an EV deserve my help to be elected on October 27, 2014.
This is my first experience canvasing with a candidate for an election. We met more than a hundred people living on my street. It was pleasant to meet each and every one of them. François Trépanier explains very well his election platform. He takes the time to listen. When it was appropriate, I presented myself as their neighbour with an electric vehicle.
A future municipal councillor who owns an electric vehicle is already a step forward in explaining to the other elected representatives the benefits for the city of Ottawa to develop an ambitious and constructive electrification of transport policy.
I vote for François Trépanier as our next Innes ward councillor in Ottawa !
Congratulations.
I hope others in your area will lend this candidate a hand also.
